Although most of our patients are dogs and cats, we’re always delighted to welcome a wide range of “small pocket pets” into our clinic.
Our veterinarians are skilled in both surgery and medicine for rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and other unique companions – including turtles, a variety of birds, and the occasional chinchilla. With a dedicated ICU area, specialized equipment, and appropriate medications, we’re fully equipped to care for these more delicate species.
Every exotic patient receives the same attentive, compassionate care as any other animal in our hospital. We can place IV lines in ear veins, run blood tests, and safely anaesthetise and monitor these small pets throughout their treatment.
