All the vets at McMaster & Heap are trained in the safety and delivery of chemotherapy to all our patients. It is relatively straightforward with your pet receiving IVF therapy prior to the injection of the chemotherapeutic drugs. It usually takes 30 minutes and then your pet is discharged. We manage nausea and vomiting if the need arises. To develop the best chemotherapeutic protocoal for your pet we seek the advice from Veterinary Oncologists in Australia and VSG in Auckland.
